Contest results:
Winners for each puzzle will be contacted at most 2 weeks after the puzzle is over. The list of winners for the puzzles already completed can be viewed at the bottom of the page.

How to take part:
Every week, a crossword puzzle based on NDP or Singapore related material, some of which may be found in the articles on the NDP website or in the newspapers, will be featured on this page. Fill in the crossword puzzle to the best of your ability, enter your details in the form below, and submit your entry. Your score will be equal to the number of clues answered correctly. Achieve a high score to win! Participants are allowed as many entries as they like, but only the latest entry will be considered. If multiple participants are tied with the same score, the winner will be chosen from these participants at random.

Filling in the crossword:
The crossword puzzle you see below is interactive and can (and should) be filled in using digitally using your computer.

Quick summary:
Read through the clues, click on the square numbered with the question you wish to solve, and type in your solution (you can press backspace if you make a mistake). If there are two clues which start on the same square, press space to alternate between the two directions. Repeat until you have solved the entire puzzle, or until you are unable to complete the remaining questions.

Detailed explanation:
The red square indicates the square you are currently on. You can use the arrow keys to move to different squares, or you can click on any of the white squares to immediately move to that square.

The red direction (across or down) indicates your current direction. You can press the spacebar to change your direction. If you click on a numbered square, you will be immediately moved to that square, and your direction will be set to the appropriate direction for that clue.

The red clue indicates the clue for the current square you are on. Clues will only be highlighted if you are on a numbered square and in the same direction.

Fill in the crossword puzzle by typing in your solution normally, as if you were entering it in a text editor.
