Search! Sense! Spring! Shine! - What It All Means

S stands for Singapore. S stands for Singapore Spirit. This year, as far as the Show segment of NDP 2008 is concerned, S also stands for "Search!", "Sense!", "Spring!" and "Shine!". These four words are none other than the names of the three acts and finale of the Show segment respectively. Read more about these four themes of the Show segment below.

SEARCH! conveys our spirit of adventure and curiosity, mirroring Singapore's determination in overcoming our past, present and future challenges.	SENSE! expresses the spirit of creativity and our visions for the future.	SPRING! draws its inspiration from the versatility of Singaporeans; always ready to adapt to changes and on the lookout for new opportunities.	SHINE! illuminates each and every Singaporean's hopes and dreams, as we all stand together as one united people and Shine for Singapore!
