The final leg of the NDP 2008 journey is at hand – the Combined Rehearsals have begun! On the 21st of June 2008, participants and EXCO members alike gathered at the Floating Platform for Combined Rehearsal 1 (CR1).

The participants, coming from various organisations, have committed themselves to rigorous training for months and the effort was proven to be worthwhile – the moves made were well-orchestrated and well-rehearsed.

Colours were all around the Floating Platform as scene after scene and act after act unfolded, featuring the various highlights of NDP 2008: from the Black Knights to the Combined Schools Choir, the repertoire was planned to engage and excite.

NDP 2008 has incorporated much, from past to present, from familiar to fresh, from military to civilian into a single performance comprising many parts. And if CR1 is anything to go by, the audience (both at Marina Bay and at home) will not be disappointed come the 9th of August.
