The future of the nation sat cheering in the stands, waving their miniature Singapore flags. Looking from high above, one could see a sea of red below, the crowd clearly ecstatic at the sights and sounds of everything going on. It was the first National Education Show, otherwise known as NE1, and students from a variety of schools were watching from the multi-coloured stands of the Marina Bay Multi-Purpose Facility. 

This was also the 3rd Combined Rehearsal, and the familiarity of all the performers with their roles and moves, having already had two combined rehearsals, clearly showed as they put up a memorable show for the audience. 

With just 5 more weeks left to NDP 2008, the celebration of the Singapore Spirit was truly spectacular that day.
