The Electronic Backbone of the NDP 2008 Website – The Technical Team

Question: What do these four people – Alvin Peck Yih Hang, Han Zhengyu, Twang Kuanyi and Foo Chuan Yu, have in common? Answer: They belong to the NDP 2008 Website Technical Team.

As far back as 2007, the team began work on the NDP 2008 website. Putting together their diverse skills and expertise, the four have since created and maintained the interim website. With the guidance and supervision of the Chairman of the Website Committee, Mr. Andrew Kong, and the webmaster, Ms. Shirley Ng, the website is well on its way towards fulfilling its vision.

Every website has its own purpose and intentions. The envisioned NDP 2008 website would be a content-based one; an easily accessible information hub on NDP 2008. Besides the articles and photos already uploaded onto the website, the team promises more content such as videos and wallpapers for download. Plus an exciting and highly-anticipated feature, the E-Balloting for NDP tickets. The team's importance is obvious – how would these features ever be possible without them?
