“Miss Sun! Help!” That was the tagline of the day when 14 primary 3 and 4 students from Pei Xin Primary School attended the workshop hosted by Miss Ho Sun of LittleLives.com. LittleLives.com is an online social network that aims at creating a safe environment for young students to interact with one another, both locally and internationally. In collaboration with the NDP 2008 website, they have hosted this workshop to help equip the students with the skills necessary to create their very own E-Card using the Photoshop software.

The E-Cards submitted by the students will be part of a competition for NDP 2008, where the top 10 entries will be selected and posted online, available for the public to download. These students, in spite of their tender years, have shown extraordinary passion and enthusiasm towards learning, even at the expense of their holidays. Slowly but surely, all of them eventually manage to master the skills of creating their own E-cards. As the school's Head of Department for Information Technology, Mr Leong Weng Hong, has put it, “everyone, even the young, plays an indispensable part in Singapore's progress.” These little lives definitely show how the Singapore Spirit exists even in the youngest of ages.
